The goal is simple: plant it at one of the bomb sites (A or B) and defend it until it explodes. Counter-Terrorists (CTs) must stop this — either by killing all Ts before the plant or defusing after.
Where to plant?
You can only plant inside marked zones (bomb sites), usually shown in red on the map. Planting takes 3.4 seconds during which you can’t move, so always plant with teammates covering you.
How to defend?
Once planted, take smart positions. Don’t hide in tight corners — a single molotov cs2 can ruin you. Often it’s better to give some space and play the clock.
How to retake?
As CT, always buy a defuse kit — without it, defusing takes 10 sec, with it just 5. Don’t rush the defuse: clear angles first. Fake-defuses can force Ts to peek.
Tips:
- You can start planting even if the bomb isn’t in your hand by pressing “E” on the site.
- Molotov sounds sometimes cover defuse noises.
- Fake plants or defuses often decide rounds.
Remember, good bomb play and practicing post-plants or retakes can turn any game. Keep improving!
