Running — fast, but loud and inaccurate
Walking — quieter, slower
Crouching — stealthiest, but slow
Speed depends on the weapon: with a CS2 knife, it's max (250); with an AWP, almost twice as slow.
You don’t hit top speed instantly. First 50 units come quickly, the rest takes longer — important for peeking.
Strafe — peek sideways from cover
Counter-strafe — quick stop for accurate shots
Jump + crouch — climb higher
Boost / Runboost — teammate as a platform
Strafe-jump — +10–15% distance
Long-jump — even further with a crouch
Bunny-hop — chained jumps keep speed
Map knowledge:
Maps define movement. Knowing where to jump, move silently, or sprint with your knife gives you the edge.
