After the second day of matches in Singapore, Natus Vincere and Liquid have exited the tournament.
The day began with a showdown between Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan, spanning three maps (Inferno, Mirage, and Ancient) and ending in a 1-2 result favoring FaZe. NaVi took a strong win on the first map, Inferno, with a score of 13-6, largely due to Valery “b1t” Vakhovsky’s impressive individual plays, finishing with a stat line of 22-9 and a rating of 2.02. However, on the subsequent maps, ropz stepped up for FaZe, helping secure crucial rounds. Mirage and Ancient ended with scores of 13-8 and 13-6, respectively, leading to NaVi's tournament exit. FaZe now moves on to face Spirit, with the winner advancing to a semifinal against Astralis.
The second match saw MOUZ and Astralis compete for a direct ticket to the semifinals. Despite MOUZ’s efforts, the Danish team clinched victory with a 2-0 scoreline. MOUZ will now face Vitality in the quarterfinals.
The third match pitted Liquid against Vitality in a contest to decide who would advance to the quarterfinals and who would go home. The first map, Anubis, was hard-fought but ultimately went to Liquid with a 13-10 score, despite ZywOo’s 23-13 performance. Moving to Dust2, Vitality found their rhythm and dominated with a 13-3 score. The decider on Nuke saw both teams battle intensely, but Vitality emerged victorious with a close 13-11, ending Liquid’s run.
The final matchup of the day featured G2 against Team Spirit—a highly anticipated clash for KC2 fans as two prominent players, m0NESY and donk, faced off. Both young stars delivered outstanding performances and secured critical rounds for their teams, but G2 ultimately triumphed with a 2-0 result, securing a spot in the semifinals. Spirit will now face FaZe in the quarterfinals.
