Sergiy “demQQ” Demchenko is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player whose esports career began in August 2019. Initially, he played for several lesser-known teams and mix squads, where he struggled to make a significant impact, achieving only modest results in minor tournaments.
In April 2020, Demchenko signed with the CR4ZY organization, where he tasted his first successes. With the team, he became the champion in tournaments such as Levono Legion Cup Ukraine and National Cybersport League 2020, won silver at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Summer 2020 #3, and finished in 3rd-4th place at WINNERS League - Season 4: Europe Invite Division and Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 4.
Afterward, Sergiy moved to Project X, where he continued to perform well. He helped the team win gold at the WhiteBIT Super Cup and take second place at the GameBuddy Challenge Cup.
In February 2021, he signed with CULT Esports, where he expanded his achievements even further. He won gold at the UPEA Ukrainian Championship 2020 beznadejdi and finished 5th-8th at Shadow League Season 1. Afterward, Demchenko briefly played for several mix teams before joining Akuma in April. With Akuma, he won gold at NumberOne Season 2: Legend Stage 2, ESEA Season 37: Advanced Division - Europe, and claimed bronze at EPIC CIS League Spring 2021.
In October, both sides decided to part ways, and by the end of November, Demchenko found a new home with B8. He started strong, finishing 3rd-4th at his first tournament, the UPEA Ukrainian Championship 2021. Sergiy then helped the team win championships at Gameinside.ua ROG Winter Cup 2021 and ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Spring 2022 #5, while also securing silver and bronze at UESF Ukrainian Super Cup 2021 and FACEIT Pro League Challenger - Europe: April 2022 B8, respectively.
In August 2022, Sergiy joined Monte, where he still plays today. During his time with the team, he has won many accolades. Some of the most significant include championship titles at European Pro League Season 6, CCT Season 1 West Europe Series #2, ESL Challenger League Season 44: Europe, CCT Season 1 Central Europe Series #5, CCT Season 1 West Europe Series #3, ESL Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023, 3rd-4th place at Thunderpick World Championship 2023 and ESL Pro League Season 18, and 5th-8th place at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
Additionally, with MONTE, Sergiy “demQQ” Demchenko has repeatedly finished as a runner-up in various tournaments. His main silver medals were earned at CCT Season 1 Central Europe Series #6, Roobet Cup 2023, A1 Gaming League Season 9, and CCT Season 2 European Series #16.
