Abdul Gasanov entered the professional Counter-Strike scene in 2018 under the nickname “degster.” Initially, he competed with several mixed teams but failed to achieve significant results. In April 2019, he signed a contract with ESPADA and reached the semifinals of the Hard Cup, earning gold and silver medals at CIS Rising #3 and the Russian Esports Cup 2019, respectively.
At the beginning of 2020, together with his team, he achieved victories in WINNERS League - Season 3: Europe Invite Division, SECTOR: MOSTBET Season 3, and Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 7, while also reaching the finals of Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 8.
Abdul Gasanov's exceptional performance made him one of the standout players in his team, eventually attracting the attention of Team Spirit, with whom he signed a contract in January 2021. With his new squad, the esports player secured gold medals at tournaments such as DreamHack Open January 2021: Europe, Winstrike CIS Cup Spring 2021, Pinnacle Cup II, INSANE FASTCUP #1, and Malta Vibes Knockout Series #6. Additionally, he earned silver at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR - Open Qualifier #1 and bronze at StarLadder CIS RMR 2021 and Regional Major Rankings 2021: CIS.
In the summer of 2022, Abdul “degster” Gasanov joined OG. His time with this team yielded mixed results, but he managed to claim several accolades, including 1st-3rd place at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, silver medals at SteelSeries Nova Invitational and CCT Season 1 Central Europe Series #2, as well as bronze at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: European RMR Qualifier B and Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2023: European Qualifier.
After his stint with OG, Gasanov briefly played for flamie and HUEC, participating in one tournament with each but finishing outside the top three. Following this, the esports player decided to take a short break, which lasted until spring 2024, when he signed a contract with Heroic in May.
Currently competing with Heroic, Abdul Gasanov has yet to achieve significant success with the team. However, he has earned notable placements, including silver at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024: European Qualifier and the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, along with 3rd-5th place at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR B.
