Love “phzy” Smidebrant is an esports athlete from Sweden and one of the most decorated players in his country. He has been on the professional Counter-Strike scene for over 5 years. Throughout his career, he has participated in more than 100 tournaments, playing over 400 matches and earning around 70 thousand dollars in prize money.

Love began his professional esports career in March 2018 and played in various mixes until July 2019. These included Singularity Academy.se, Gyazo.cfg, CounterPoint, Punktexe, Ett par goa gubbar, 24SJU, Vinterdepress, OutPlayed, and several other lesser-known teams. However, he did not achieve significant success with these lineups, only securing a few wins in lower-tier minor tournaments.

His first notable success came after joining 9INE in October 2019. With this team, he won gold at NorthSpawn LAN 2019 and finished 7th in the ESEA Rank G - Europe December 2019 Week 3 event. In spring 2020, his cooperation with 9INE ended, and he moved to Divine, but failed to make a significant impact there.

In June 2020, Smidebrant joined Team Down2Earth. With this roster, he won gold at the GetInPro Summer Cup Stage 1 and VAL Season 14 before leaving the organization. By September, he had changed more than five teams, including Xdhehe1, TouchTheCrown, Danggang, Flowskola, Lilmix, LESGEDI, and others. With some of these, he achieved podium finishes: silver at Shark Gaming CS:GO Open, gold at King of Nordic - Season 16: Weeks 1 to 5, and a 3-4th place at Leo Vegas CS:GO Open.

Love “phzy” Smidebrant still struggled to find a permanent team and continued to play for various squads across different tournaments. By January 2021, he had won gold at Skolkampen 2020 with LBS Göteborg, gold medals at Svenska Elitserien Fall 2020 with Lilmix, and was champion of Fragleague Season 5 with Flowskola.

His skill level improved significantly, which he demonstrated during these tournaments. This drew the attention of Young Ninjas, where he played until the end of 2022. During this time, he won several significant awards, including gold at Elisa Nordic Championship 2021 - Sweden, Atlantic Esportal Invitational, silver at Svenska Elitserien Spring 2021, WePlay Academy League Season 1, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter, Svenska Elitserien Spring 2022, and bronze at BLAST Rising 2021 and WePlay Academy League Season 2.

After these successes, Love “phzy” Smidebrant joined Sangal Esports, where he stayed until March 2023. With them, he won silver at ESEA Season 42: Advanced Division - Europe, placed 3-4th at BLAST Premier: Fall European Showdown 2022, and took prize positions at several other tournaments. After a short break, he returned but struggled to find a permanent team until December 2023, when he was invited to Rare Atom. However, he did not manage to perform at his best, with the best result being 9-16th at BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024. The cooperation was subsequently terminated.

Between April and July 2024, Love played unsuccessfully for several teams before joining Wildcard. There, he greatly expanded his list of achievements, including wins at NA Revival Series #1, CCT Season 2 North American Series #2, Frost and Fire Europe, as well as top placements in prestigious tournaments like ESL Pro League Season 20, Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

In July 2025, Love “phzy” Smidebrant was loaned to Iberian Soul, with whom he won gold at The Proving Grounds Season 2. Then he helped ENERGYULTRA secure silver at European Pro League Season 26 before returning to Wildcard, where he continues to play today.
