S1mple and his team lost their first match at the LAN tournament after facing the SAW team upon their return

The first LAN match between the newly reformed Team Falcons and SAW was a hard-fought battle.

The first half of the Ancient map ended in SAW's favor with a score of 9-3, making it seem unlikely that Team Falcons would manage a comeback. However, in the second half, s1mple and his team began to play with more confidence, gradually closing the gap. They eventually managed to take an 11-10 lead, but couldn't maintain their momentum, losing three consecutive rounds on defense and narrowly dropping the series, 11-13. After the second match at Thunderpick, it appeared that s1mple had regained a form reminiscent of his prime, when he was one of the best players in the world. Yet, in this match, Oleksandr's performance was less convincing, ending the map with a personal record of 12-15.

The next matches for Team Falcons and SAW will be against Eternal Fire and B8, respectively.
