Philip "aizy" Aistrup becomes new head coach of Preasy

28-year-old Philip "aizy" Aistrup is starting a new chapter in his esports career by taking on a coaching role.

He has been appointed as the head coach of Preasy’s CS2 team, marking his first experience in coaching after retiring as a player.

Aizy is known for playing with teams like Dignitas, G2, FaZe, and North. With North, he won several titles, including DreamHack Masters Stockholm in 2018. His last team was Sashi, which he left at the end of 2023.

At Preasy, he replaces Danni "Ratico" Jørgensen, who had coached the team since January. Aizy also reunites with his former teammates Asger "AcilioN" Larsen and Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen.

Preasy highlighted aizy’s vast experience, including appearances at five CS:GO Majors, and expressed confidence in his ability to guide the next generation of players.
