The MongolZ lead Group B at Thunderpick, 9z are eliminated, while Cloud9 and fnatic will face off in a playoff match

The second day of the Thunderpick World Championship's online stage has concluded, with The MongolZ clinching a spot in the playoffs.

Garidmagnai 'bLitz' Byambasuren led his team to the top of Group B with 2-0 wins over Cloud9 in the opening match and fnatic in the winner's bracket. They secured three consecutive map victories, each with a score of 13-11, then dominated Benjamin 'blameF' Bremer’s team with an 11-1 series, and rounded off Dust2 with a commanding 13-7 win. These achievements came just days after they finished 3rd-4th at Elisa Masters Espoo, where they lost in the semifinals to the eventual champions, ENCE.

After their surprising success at IEM Dallas, 9z continued to compete against top-tier teams but ultimately ended the tournament at the bottom of their group. They lost 1-2 to fnatic in the opening match and were later defeated 0-2 by Cloud9 in the elimination match.
