In the first match of the tournament, the NIP team lost to B8 on the Mirage map in overtime, with a score of 14-16. Special mention goes to B8's Daniil “headtr1ck” Valitov, for whom this was a LAN debut with B8, playing against his former organization. He delivered an impressive performance on Mirage, finishing with a score of 27-22 and putting in maximum effort to secure the win.
NIP's second and final match was a hard-fought battle across three maps against the Finnish team JANO Esports, who were particularly motivated by playing in their home country. Under the leadership of Aleksi “allu” Jalli, JANO managed to come back from a 4-8 deficit on their Nuke pick early in the series. However, they couldn't push the game into overtime on Ancient and required an incredible comeback from 0-6 on Dust2 to clinch the series.
It is also worth noting that during the tournament, NIP had to play with a substitute, Jacob “jocab” Nerheden, as it was revealed at the last minute that Max “maxster” Jansson would be unable to participate due to “unforeseen health circumstances.”
As a result of their BO3 against the Finns, NIP concluded their run in the tournament, while JANO Esports will continue their quest for a playoff spot in a match against B8.
