Maxster entered the world of cybersport in May 2019, joining Theboys team, but he did not achieve any significant victories during that time. He subsequently played for BIICEPS and several other lesser-known teams, where he also failed to find success. His fortunes changed after moving to Young Ninjas, with whom Max Jansson secured several notable tournament victories, including WePlay Academy League Season 6, Subway Suberior League Season 1: Open Qualifier #3, and a second-place finish at Svenska Elitserien Fall 2022.
Shortly thereafter, Maxster left the team and joined Bicepsbrothers, where he won gold in the Esportal Clash Open: Open Qualifier #4, Esportal Evnia Open: Open Qualifier #4, Subway Suberior League Season 2: Open Qualifier #3, and Tele2 Gaming: Road to DreamHack 2023 - Open Qualifier #1.
In March 2024, Maxster returned to Young Ninjas and immediately triumphed in ESEA Season 48: Intermediate Division - Europe, as well as securing a 1-4 placement at the ESL Challenger during DreamHack Summer 2024: European Open Qualifier. Following this success, Max Jansson was promoted to the main roster, where he currently competes. Among his top achievements with Ninjas in Pyjamas are a silver medal at the online tournament ESL Challenger at DreamHack Summer 2024: European Qualifier and a 3-4th place finish at the FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2023.
