Flicks are quick shots when you rapidly snap your crosshair to the enemy. Most often done with an AWP, Scout, Deagle or AK-47, because one precise shot can end it all. These kills might look like hacks, but it’s pure skill.
Even many high-rank players struggle with flicks since they focus too much on teamplay or ranking up and forget to work on raw aim mechanics. To hit flicks consistently, you need to train your reaction and mouse control.
Use a good mouse and a large mousepad — you need space for those sharp movements.
Practice on bots: first place them stationary and learn to snap to them, then try 1 vs 15 with knives to clear angles.
After that, jump into solid DM servers and aim to shoot mainly with flicks.
Give it about a month of practice — flicks will become second nature and your level will skyrocket. And don’t forget to tune your CS2 configs so your mouse feels perfect.
