In CS2, moving smartly and choosing positions can be more important than pure aim. Here’s how to turn it into an advantage:
- Control the map. Change positions after each round, keep zones under control, and don’t let enemies predict your routes. Study different maps like Dust2 or Mirage.
- Stay hidden. Walk quietly (Shift) and crouch near enemies — it’s easier to catch them off guard.
- Use cover. Boxes, corners, obstacles — your allies. They reduce exposure and give reaction time.
- Seek height. Controlling ladders and elevated positions gives better vision and advantage in duels.
- Fake movements. Pretend to go for a plant or push an enemy to make them reveal their position.
- Act with your team. Coordinate positions with teammates — cover key points and create crossfire traps.
Move smartly, read maps and enemies — and your rounds will be won more often.
