The Overpass map in CS2 has a complex structure and requires precise communication. It’s important not only to know the callouts and positions, but also to use optimized CS2 configs and comfortable CS2 crosshairs to react faster in duels.
A Site — bombsite on the upper level of the map.
B Site — bombsite on the lower level.
Bank — building behind A Site, often used by defenders.
Truck — truck near A Site, a key holding position.
Toilets — hallways and rooms before A Site, commonly used by attackers.
Long A — long passage to A Site, often controlled by snipers.
Connector — stairs and tunnel linking Mid and the lower level.
Monster — main T-side entry to B Site.
Short B (Pipes) — short route through the pipes to B Site.
Water — low area at B Site, often used for planting the bomb and taking cover.
Heaven — elevated spot above B Site with a top-down view.
Playground — starting zone for terrorists with swings and a play area leading to Mid.
Fountain — fountain at Mid, a popular control point for early duels.
Knowing these callouts allows players to react faster to opponents’ actions, give accurate comms, and build effective strategies. Overpass is a map where proper communication can decide the outcome of the match.
