With the arrival of CS2, many things have changed, including how players express themselves on the map. CS2 graffiti replaced the old sprays, but usage is now more restricted: drawings can only be placed on solid surfaces, stay visible for 7 minutes, and have a 45-second cooldown between uses.
There are monochrome and colored graffiti, as well as exclusive ones—such as those released for tournaments. Some, like “Howling Dawn,” are highly valued by collectors and sell at high prices. You can get them by leveling up, through CS2 cases, or by buying them directly on the marketplace. Important: if you want to sell your graffiti, don’t use it—otherwise it becomes untradeable.
To apply graffiti, press "T" (or "E") and left-click on the desired spot. The limitations and realism of Source 2 prevent spam—every piece matters now.
Pro players like ropz use graffiti to show team support or stand out. Combined with custom CS2 crosshairs and unique CS2 skins from cases, it helps build personal style and leaves an impression.
Graffiti isn’t just decoration—it’s a part of CS2 culture, where every mark tells a story.
