HOTU eSports is a professional esports organisation founded in Russia on February 1, 2022. From day one, the club aimed to grow esports in the region and help Yakut players reach a high international level. HOTU found its biggest success in CS2: in 2024, the team won the Russian Championship and the Russian Cup, and in 2025, it became the first team from Yakutia to qualify for the major international event PGL Astana 2025.

History of HOTU lineups
HOTU is not the oldest team on the scene, but it has already built its own roster history and put together some solid results. At different points, the club had players who helped it lock in its place on the scene and win its first trophies.
Below is a quick look at two important stages: the very first lineup and the roster that represented HOTU in 2023-2024.
Achievements of the first lineup
At the start, HOTU’s lineup featured Nikita “nitzie” Prokhorov, Erkhan “gokushima” Bagynanov, Dmitry “mizu” Kondratyev, Aleksandr “casE” Kornilov, and Nurgun “swiftsteel” Avvakumov.
One of the first notable results was second place at Hydra Cup #3. After that, HOTU picked up a few more medals: silver at SCL Season 6: Challenger Division and FASTCUP Grand Tour, plus title wins at ESEA Season 41: Main Division - Europe and RESF Open Cup 2022.
The 2023-2024 roster
From 2023 to 2024, HOTU’s lineup featured casE, mizu, nitzie, swiftsteel, and Dmitry “anttzz” Kirilin.
This roster had a strong run and delivered even bigger results. The team took silver at SDTV Invitational Series #3, bronze at Russian Cybersport League 2023 and RESF Open Cup 2023, and also won SCL Season 9: Challenger Division, Russian Esports Championship 2024, Russian Esports Cup 2024, and FASTCUP: TOPSKIN Cup #4.
