The Molotov grenade is a powerful tool used to delay or damage enemies hiding behind cover.

This grenade is exclusively available for the Terrorist side in the game and serves various purposes:

• Luring an Opponent: You can use it to draw an opponent out from behind cover or to scout for enemies in strategic positions.
• Stalling an Enemy: It is effective for holding back opponents in post-plant situations, buying valuable time.
• Creating Visual Barriers: In rare instances, it can be deployed to create a small visual "fence" in front of the enemy, making it slightly harder for them to see.

Be aware that this grenade can be neutralized by throwing a smoke grenade on top of it. Additionally, it cannot be used for long-range dispersal; if the Molotov cocktail remains in the air for more than 2 seconds, it will explode without dealing any damage.

The maximum damage inflicted by this grenade is 100 HP if a player stays in the incendiary zone for an extended period.

The cost of the Molotov in the game is $400, which contributes to its popularity among players.

Unfortunately, there is currently no option to change the skins of grenades in the game, but players can inspect them during rounds when they are in hand. This leads us to speculate that Valve is considering adding this feature and may surprise us with new skins soon.
