Decoy Grenade
The Decoy Grenade is used by players as a distraction.
When thrown, this grenade produces the sound of the most powerful weapon of the player who deployed it for 15 seconds. This feature can confuse opponents and create a surprise effect that can be exploited to gain the upper hand in combat.
Experienced players often utilize the Decoy Grenade as an alternative to the flashbang when they know the enemy's position. The strategy here is that the enemy will reflexively look away, allowing you to strike without resistance.
The maximum damage this grenade can inflict is 5 HP. If you are near the grenade when it detonates, it will explode like a fragmentation grenade.
In the game, this grenade costs $50.
Unfortunately, there is currently no option to change skins for grenades; however, players can inspect them during a round while holding them. Based on this, we can infer that Valve is considering the possibility of introducing new skins cs2 soon.
