Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko is a former professional esports player from Ukraine who competed in the Counter-Strike discipline. Throughout his career, he played about 800 matches and earned impressive prize money totaling over $680,000.
Danylo began his professional esports journey in June 2004 as part of the team pro100. With them, he achieved his first successes on the pro scene, winning gold medals at ASUS Open Winter 2005, ASUS Open Winter 2006, ASUS Open Summer 2006, ASUS Open Winter 2007, as well as taking silver at the UACAP Season 1 Finals and bronze at ASUS Open Spring 2007.
In the summer of 2007, thanks to his gameplay, he received an invitation from Virtus.pro. With this team, he won gold medals at Intel Challenge Cup 2007, ASUS Open Winter 2008, GamePlayTV showmatch, ASUS Open Autumn 2008, and also became runner-up at Rekrut.ru Championship 2008.
Between January 2009 and February 2010, Danylo played for more than five different teams, winning gold at the Arbalet Cup Asia 2010 with one of them. His performance in this tournament attracted the attention of NaVi, with whom he signed a contract in March 2010 that lasted until July 2016. During this period, Teslenko won numerous awards, including gold at Intel Extreme Masters IV, Intel Extreme Masters VI, StarLadder StarSeries IX, Game Show League Season 1, DreamHack Winter 2014, StarLadder StarSeries XIII, Electronic Sports World Cup 2015, Intel Extreme Masters X - San Jose, DreamHack Open Leipzig 2016, Counter Pit League Season 2 - Finals, as well as silver at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015, ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 - Finals, StarLadder i-League StarSeries XIV, MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016, and DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016.
After these achievements, the player decided to challenge himself anew and accepted an invitation from Gambit Esports. With this lineup, he won gold at Acer Predator Masters Season 3, DreamHack Open Winter 2016, DreamHack Open Austin 2017, and PGL Major Kraków 2017.
In September 2017, Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko returned to NaVi. This time, he also managed to prove himself well and win a number of medals, including gold at ESL One: New York 2016, DreamHack Open Winter 2017, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 5, CS:GO Asia Championships 2018, ESL One: Cologne 2018, BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2018, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 7, Intel Extreme Masters XIV - World Championship, BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020, Intel Grand Slam Season 3, as well as runner-up finishes at Adrenaline Cyber League 2017, StarLadder & i-League StarSeries Season 4, DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018, FACEIT Major: London 2018, EPICENTER 2018, and GG.Bet Ice Challenge 2019.
In August 2020, Danylo and Natus Vincere parted ways, after which he took a break. He decided to resume his career only in December 2021 when he joined the team StarzzZ. With them, he performed poorly at the UESF Ukrainian Super Cup 2021, placing 9-10th. This led Teslenko to decide to quit esports entirely, and at the beginning of 2022, he announced his retirement from professional esports.
