Simon “yxngstxr” Boije is a professional esports player from Sweden, competing in Counter-Strike 2. Over his career, he has participated in more than 100 tournaments, played over 200 matches, and earned over $33,000 in prize money.

Simon’s journey began in September 2021 with a lesser-known team, Cutedoggy, though no major results followed. He played for several other teams without much success until joining Bitfix Gaming in March 2022. However, he remained there only for two months and didn’t reach notable achievements.

His first breakthrough came in July 2022 when, as part of Team Roma, he placed second at SCL Season 5: Masters Division. Shortly afterward, he moved to Metizport, though his early time there wasn’t fruitful. His first accomplishment with the team came in May 2023, placing 3rd–4th at Telialigaen Spring 2023.

The real rise began with Sangal Esports, where Simon achieved his first major titles. He helped the team win RES European Series #4, ESL Challenger League Season 47: Europe, CCT Season 2 European Series #6 and #7, and ESL Challenger League Season 48: Europe, while also placing 3rd–4th at RES Regional Champions and 17th–20th at ESL Pro League Season 20.

As one of the key players in the team, Simon “yxngstxr” Boije drew the attention of HEROIC, signing with the organization in January 2025, where he continues to compete. With HEROIC, he has added more achievements to his record: placing 5th–8th at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, 17th–20th at IEM Katowice 2025, 7th–8th at IEM Dallas 2025, and 17th–19th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, along with winning CCT Season 2 Global Finals and MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025.
