Ismailkan began his professional career in esports in 2013. In January 2015, he joined the Space Soldiers team, with which he claimed silver at the Ballistix CS:GO Challenge and secured victories in the QuickShot Arena #17 and Operation: Kinguin tournaments. Just a year later, his team achieved significant successes, winning the CS:GO Champions League Season 3, ASUS ROG Assembly Summer 2016, and the WESG 2016 Middle East & Africa Finals.
In October 2016, XANTARES joined Team Turkey and, with their combined efforts, won the 2017 World Championship. Following this triumph, he rejoined Space Soldiers. Ismailkan continued to perform exceptionally well in his new team, finishing 4th at the World Electronic Sports Games 2016. He was also recognized as the best player at events such as the GeForce Cup 2017, ESEA Season 25: Global Challenge, and the Europe Minor Championship - Boston 2018. Additionally, he earned silver at the World Electronic Sports Games 2017 and secured gold at DreamHack Open Austin 2018.
In the fall of 2018, Ismailkan went inactive but signed with BIG in early winter. During his time with the organization, he achieved a top-three finish at the 2019 ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational and placed 7th-8th at the World Championship. In 2020, his team celebrated multiple victories, including wins at DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020, #HomeSweetHome: Week 1, #HomeSweetHome: Week 2, and DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe.
In August 2021, Ismailkan joined the Eternal Fire team but initially struggled, failing to qualify for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. However, the situation began to improve in early 2022, as XANTARES’ team successfully qualified for the PGL Antwerp 2022. In early 2023, they clinched victory at the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals. XANTARES also participated in the ESL Pro League 2023, where his team fell short of advancing past the group stage. Despite this setback, Ismailkan earned a well-deserved spot among the top 10 players of the group stage.
