Vinicius “vsm” Moreira (sometimes written as v$m) is a Brazilian professional Counter-Strike 2 player, born on July 2, 1999. In January 2026, he joined paiN Gaming for the new season after playing for Keyd Stars.

vsm built his career mostly inside the Brazilian scene, moving through several well-known lineups. He first became widely noticed with DETONA Gaming, and later had a short period on MIBR (on loan). One of his best-known international results from that era is MIBR’s 4th-place finish at Flashpoint Season 2 (late 2020). After that, he played with O Plano and 00 Nation, then spent a long stretch with Fluxo starting in August 2022. In 2024 he left Fluxo, and in 2025 he played for Flamengo Esports before moving to Keyd Stars (August 2025), which led into the 2026 move to paiN.

A big part of his story is that he received a VAC ban in 2013, which made him ineligible for Valve-sponsored events for many years. In April 2021, Valve updated its rules so older bans (at least five years old) could become eligible again, which reopened that path for him.

For CS2 players watching his demos, vsm is best described as a rifle-focused impact player. Over his pro career, his numbers show steady damage and strong aim: about 1.15 K/D, 0.75 kills/round, 81.8 ADR, and a 52.5% headshot rate. He also wins a lot of early duels—his opening kill ratio is around 1.12, and his team wins roughly 72.8% of rounds when he gets the first kill.
