Munkhbold Sodbayar debuted in professional sports in 2020. The Mongolian cyber athlete began his career in CS:GO and almost immediately started playing for the Checkmate team. In this team, Techno established himself as one of the leaders and helped Checkmate achieve several notable results: finishing in the Top 6 at the Perfect World Asia League Fall 2020 tournament, taking 3rd-4th place at the Funspark Rivals Pre-Season 2021, winning silver at the DreamHack Open June 2021: Asia, and earning gold at the Funspark ULTI 2021: Asian Points Ranking and Funspark ULTI 2021: Asia Playoffs #2 tournaments. Munkhbold also managed to secure bronze at the 5E Arena Streamer Battle Asia tournament as part of the Mongolian team.
Following these achievements, the cyber athlete continued to play for Checkmate, adding to his accolades in 2022. He won gold at the Jig Jug National Championship 2022: Invitational #1, the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR – Asian Open Qualifier, and the MESA League Season 2. His performance in these tournaments attracted the attention of IHC Esports, which he joined in the spring of 2022. During his year with the new team, Munkhbold amassed numerous awards, including gold at the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR and the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: Asian RMR Qualifier, as well as a 2nd place finish at the ESL Pro League Season 17: Asian Conference.
In March 2023, Munkhbold "Techno" Sodbayar signed with The MongolZ, where he continues to play to this day. With "The Mongols," the cyber athlete has secured many victories. The most significant of these include gold medals at the IESF World Esports Championship 2023: Mongolian Qualifier, IESF Asian Championship 2023: East Asia Qualifier, ESN National Championship 2023, ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023: Asian Qualifier, eXTREMESLAND 2023: Mongolian Qualifier, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: East Asia Qualifier, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR, Thunderpick World Championship 2024, and the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR.
