Lizhi "Starry" Ye is a professional esports player from China, recognized as one of the top players in his region. He competes in Counter-Strike 2 and has achieved considerable success throughout his professional career. Starry has played about 300 matches across more than 70 tournaments, earning around $42,000 in prize money.
His career began in November 2019, when he first tested his skills in CS:GO, competing in tournaments such as 5EPLAY Pro League - 2019 Season 4 Week 4 and 5EPLAY Pro League - 2019 Season 4 Week 6 (finishing 1st and 3rd respectively). In February 2020, he joined the team JiJieHao, which proved to be a good decision. With them, he won silver medals at 5EPLAY Pro League - 2020 Season 1 Week 3, 5EPLAY Pro League Invitational #4, CNCS Shooter League #3, and Huya DarkHorse League Season 5, as well as a 4th place finish at Huya Pro League Season 1.
At the end of 2020, Starry left the team and took a temporary break but returned in April to compete with Invictus Gaming. There, he achieved his first major successes — bronze medals at Perfect World League Season 1 and a 3-4th place finish at Funspark ULTI 2021: Asia Season 1. His strong performance caught the attention of Lynn Vision Gaming, which recruited him in August 2021.
From then until August 2024, Starry was a steady main roster player, winning multiple titles including championships at Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 2: Professional Division, ESL Challenger League Season 42: Asia-Pacific, ESL Challenger League Season 44: Asia-Pacific, XSE Pro League 2023, and Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 5: Professional Division. He also earned silver medals at eXTREMESLAND Festival 2022, Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 3: Professional Division, and ESL Challenger League Season 45: Asia-Pacific, plus bronze medals at ESL Challenger League Season 46: Asia-Pacific. Additionally, he secured a 5-6th place at CS Asia Championships 2023.
In August 2024, Starry joined TYLOO on loan, participating in 4 tournaments. He won gold at XSE Pro League Season 2 and ESL Challenger League Season 48: Asia, while qualifying 2nd and 3rd for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 and eXTREMESLAND 2024 respectively.
After returning to Lynn Vision Gaming’s main roster, Starry quickly secured 3-4th place at XSE Pro League Season 3 and added more achievements — a championship at ESL Challenger League Season 49: Asia, silver medals at Asian Champions League 2025, and prize finishes at ESL Pro League Season 21 (20-22nd) and Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2025 (13-16th).
