
Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer is one of the most experienced esports athletes competing in the discipline Counter-Strike 2. His professional career on the competitive scene spans almost 17 years. Over that time, the Danish player has participated in hundreds of tournaments, earning prize money exceeding USD 445,000.
Snappi’s first steps on the pro scene came back in February 2009. Up until October of that year, he played for several lesser-known teams without notable achievements. His first rewards came after he joined the organisation Roskilde Ravens, where he won silver at SLAP LIVE #19 and bronze at Komplett Gamer Challenge and IEM IV European Championship Finals.
After that he changed teams to EXelon Gaming, later to Anexis eSports, and still faced challenges. In February 2013 he moved to Xapso, but again without major success.
From early 2015 to September of that year, Snappi played in many teams and achieved only sporadic successes, until he joined No Problem!, with whom he finally won his first gold medals (D!ngIT Weekly Cup #19, QuickShot Arena #9), silver (D!ngIT Weekly Cup #22) and bronze (League of Sharks Fall 2015: Mighty Sharks).
In early 2016 he joined Copenhagen Wolves, where he significantly expanded his list of achievements: gold at Game On King of the Hill – Finals, CEVO Season 9 – Europe: Main Division, and other titles. In August he received an invitation to HEROIC. With HEROIC he won dozens of titles including gold at Power-LAN 2016, IGL Grand Finals, WCA 2017 Europe Main Stage; silver at League of Sharks CS:GO Championship, DreamHack Open Atlanta 2017, Copenhagen Games 2018; bronze at Northern Arena 2016 – Toronto, IEM XI – World Championship.
In May 2018 he joined OpTic Gaming, winning silver at DreamHack Open Summer 2018, Europe Minor Championship – London 2018, cs_summit 3, and bronze at StarSeries & i-League Season 6.
In September 2019 he returned to HEROIC; this second stint brought gold at DreamHack Open Atlanta 2019, GG.Bet Winter Cup; silver at DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019; bronze at EPICENTER 2019 and DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020.
In February 2021 he moved to ENCE, finishing 9–12 at ESL Pro League Season 13; gold at LOOT.BET/CS Season 9, Funspark ULTI 2021: European Playoffs #1, BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022, CCT Season 1 North Europe Series #2, IEM Dallas 2023; silver at Malta Vibes Knockout Series #1, IEM XVI – Fall: Europe, etc; bronze at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, ESL Pro League Seasons 17–18, CS Asia Championships 2023, etc.
In January 2024 he joined Team Falcons, where he earned silver at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Summer 2024, gold at BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024, bronze at IEM Katowice 2024, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #1.
In January 2025 Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer joined the organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas, for whom he continues to play in Counter-Strike 2. With them he has already claimed gold at Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXPO 2025, runner-up at CCT Season 3 European Series #3 and StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025, and took other prize places at PGL events.
