Igor “sL4M” Sopov is originally from Russia. He is a former professional esports player and currently a well-known commentator and popular streamer representing the Counter-Strike discipline.

Igor began his commentary career in mid-2009. At that time, he started working with the proplay.ru service, and shortly after, Sopov became interested in streaming, launching live broadcasts on the place2play.ru platform.

In 2012, sL4M decided to move to Kyiv and almost immediately started working at CyberArena, as well as commentating for StarLadder in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive discipline.

In November 2014, Igor wanted to try himself as a professional esports player. He joined the Ukrainian team SLTV Staff, played several matches, and stayed with the team for a total of 46 days. However, he was unable to achieve serious success and left the team, which was later disbanded.

After the unsuccessful attempt to pursue a player career, Igor “sL4M” Sopov returned to his usual activities—streaming and commentating tournaments. He worked as a commentator at several major events, including StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3, PGL Major Kraków 2017, World Electronic Sports Games 2017, FACEIT Major: London 2018, EPICENTER 2018, PGL Major Stockholm 2021, WePlay Academy League Season 6, and others.

As of 2025, Igor continues streaming live broadcasts on Counter-Strike topics and occasionally appears as an analyst at major tournaments held on the pro scene in this esports discipline.
