Ricardo “roman” Oliveira is an experienced cyber athlete who has been playing Counter-Strike for over 10 years. He started in CS
when he became a member of the K1KC team in 2013. However, he struggled to reach significant heights with the team, remaining with them for more than six months. His achievements during this period were limited to victories in online tournaments, including the ESWC 2013 Portugal Qualifier and FBM Season 2: Qualifier 1.
The situation improved in 2014, when, as a member of K1KC, Oliveira won several tournaments, including the ESWC 2014 Portuguese Qualifier, ESL Pro League Winter 2014/15: Iberian Qualifier, and xFunction Masters I.
At the start of 2015, roman did not achieve much success, prompting a change in the summer of that year. In August, he signed with OverGaming eSports Club. However, his time with the team did not go well, and in November, Ricardo Oliveira returned to K1KC, where he significantly increased his trophy count. He won gold at AlienTech League Season 1 - Finals, WESG 2016 - Iberia Qualifier, xfunction Gaming Festival, AlienTech League Season 2 - Finals, Minho Electronic Esports Cup, and also secured several silver medals at various online tournaments.
In September 2017, Oliveira signed with Giants Gaming, where he had a strong run. He won gold in several prestigious events, including Liga de Videojuegos Profesional Season 13 - Superliga 2017 Round Robin, DreamHack Open Valencia 2018: Iberian Qualifier, Master League Portugal Season 1, Liga de Videojuegos Profesional - Superliga 2018, IeSF 2018 Portugal Qualifier, Master League Portugal Season 2: Regular Season, ESL Masters España 2018 - Season 4, United Masters League Season 2: Week 1 Qualifier, and GameGune 21.
At the end of 2019, Ricardo left the team and took a short break before signing with SAW in January 2020. Initially, he played for the youth squad, but in 2021, he was promoted to the main roster. With the new team, he won the LVP Unity Cup 2021, Master League Portugal Season 7, Circuito Retake Season 4: Take #1, IEM Road to Rio 2022: European RMR - Open Qualifier #4, Master League Portugal Season 11: Online Stage, BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024, and ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2024: European Qualifier.
As of the end of 2024, Ricardo Oliveira continues to play for SAW in the role of sharpshooter.
