Hristiyan “REDSTAR” Pironkov entered the professional Counter-Strike scene in 2017, joining BPro Gaming. With this team, he placed 3rd-4th in tournaments such as ComicCon Bulgaria 2017, WESG 2017 Eastern European Qualifier, and Nations Elite Esports Cup Balkans Qualifier. He also secured championship titles at ESL South East Europe Championship: Season 6 - Regular Season, ESL South East Europe Championship: Season 6, Stream.me Gauntlet - CIS vs EU #19, Stream.me Gauntlet - CIS vs EU #20, and GG.BET Summer Europe - Open Qualifier. Additionally, he won silver medals at GameAgents Balkan Challenge #2, Gfinity Winter Series 2018 - Europe, Thunderpick Invitational #3, and Gfinity Spring Series 2018 - Europe, while finishing 1st-2nd at CSGO.NET Cup 2 - Qualifier #2 and Esports Balkan League Season 2: Closed Qualifier.

From November 2018 to January 2020, REDSTAR played for various mixed teams but achieved little success, winning only a few online tournaments. After that, he joined BLUEJAYS International, where he won championships at ESEA Rank S - Europe June 2020 Week 3, A1 Gaming League 2020: Open Qualifier #5, FACEIT Pro League Challenger - Europe: June 2020, and ESEA Season 34: Open Division - Europe, along with a bronze medal at LOOT.BET/CS Season 6: Closed Qualifier.

In September 2020, Hristiyan left the team and changed more than 10 teams until January 2021, winning only one tournament – Bellum Gens Elite - Stara Zagora. However, his strong individual performance earned him an invitation to VOYVODA in March 2021. With this lineup, he placed 1st-4th at DreamHack Masters Spring 2021: European Open Qualifier, won bronze and silver medals at DreamHack Masters Spring 2021: European Qualifier and European Development Championship Season 3: Open Qualifier #2, respectively.

Following these successes, Hristiyan “REDSTAR” Pironkov was invited to Team Fiend, where he remained until December 2021. During this time, he secured championship titles in TWR Eastern European Masters: Fall 2021 - Bulgarian Open Qualifier #2, TWR Eastern European Masters: Fall 2021 - Bulgarian Qualifier, TWR Eastern European Masters: Fall 2021, and Elisa Invitational Fall 2021. He also finished 1st-2nd in European Development Championship Season 4: Closed Qualifier and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: European Open Qualifier #1.

From May 2021 to July 2022, Hristiyan played unsuccessfully for several teams before joining Monte, where he returned to a winning path. With his new team, he won FRAG Season 9: Open Qualifier #1, FRAG Season 9: Closed Qualifier, finished runner-up at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Summer 2022 #5 and CCT Season 1 South Europe Series #1, and placed 1st-4th at CCT Season 1 Central Europe Series #1: Open Qualifier.

After that, he rejoined VOYVODA, helping them secure the A1 Gaming League 2023 championship, as well as a 2nd place finish at RES Eastern European Masters: Spring 2023. In May 2023, he moved to 500, where he became the champion of Lorgar Cup and IESF World Esports Championship 2024: Bulgarian Qualifier.

Since June 2024, Hristiyan played for 5W Gaming, winning gold at Regional Clash Arena Europe. He then had an unsuccessful stint with Into The Breach, leaving the team in January 2025. After playing several tournaments with minor mixed teams, he joined Wild Lotus, where he currently competes. His most notable achievement with the new team so far has been a 5th-8th place finish at PGL Bucharest 2025: European Open Qualifier #3.
