Håvard “rain” Nygaard (born August 27, 1994) is a Norwegian professional Counter-Strike 2 player.

He started playing professionally in the early 2010s and first became known internationally through European teams like LGB (2014–2015). In 2015 he joined Team Kinguin, and that lineup later moved under the G2 Esports name, where rain kept proving he could perform against top teams at big tournaments. In January 2016, he joined FaZe Clan and stayed there for almost a decade, becoming the long-term core piece through many roster rebuilds.

Rain’s biggest career peak came with FaZe’s championship run at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where he was also named the event’s Most Valuable Player. For CS players, that matters because a Major is the highest level of pressure and preparation: you play the best teams, in long series, with no “easy” rounds. FaZe’s 2022–2023 success also included winning Intel Grand Slam Season 4, completed in March 2023 after ESL Pro League Season 17.

In September 2025, FaZe moved rain to the bench. On November 13, 2025, he officially joined 100 Thieves for a new chapter. He’s widely respected as a rifler known for taking hard openings—often being one of the first players to fight for space—where good timing, sharp aim, and calm decision-making are the difference between winning a round and losing it early.
