Nicollas “nicks” Polonio is a Brazilian professional Counter-Strike 2 player. His competitive career spans just over three years, during which he has taken part in a variety of tournaments — including major ones — playing over 200 matches and earning approximately $13,500 in prize money.
He began his pro journey in May 2022 with Itapetininga but didn’t find much success. In July, Polonio joined SECRET, where he showed promise, although he failed to claim any winnings. His best results during that three-month stint were a 7th-8th place at KaBuM! Challenge Especial Gaules #1 and 9th-12th at Gamers Club Liga Série B: October 2022. Later, he moved to Los Grandes Academy, where he played from October to late November 2022, though again without notable achievements.
His first real breakthrough came in December 2022 after joining MIBR Academy. With them, he placed 3rd-4th at FiReLEAGUE Academy 2023: Online Stage and took silver at both Gamers Club Liga Série A: April 2023 and RedZone PRO League 2023 Season 4. The academy squad also helped him earn multiple titles: wins at Gamers Club Liga Série A: Esquenta 2023, January 2024, and April 2024; silver medals at RedZone PRO League 2024 Season 1 and Gamers Club Liga Série A: March 2024; and bronze at the February 2024 edition.
However, nicks never got promoted to the MIBR main roster. In May 2024, he left to accept an offer from Fluxo — a move that proved successful. With Fluxo, he won titles at Regional Clash Arena South America, CCT South American Series #3 and #5, DBE 2024, and ESL Challenger League Season 49: South America. He also placed second at Thunderpick World Championship 2024: South American Series #2.
Additional results with the team included 3rd-4th finishes at CBCS Season 4, CCT South American Series #2 and #7, and CBCS Invitational 2024, as well as 7th-8th at ESL Challenger League Season 47: South America and 11th at Season 48.
Thanks to his performance, MIBR decided to bring Nicollas “nicks” Polonio back — this time to the main roster. He signed with them in July 2025 and has since played one tournament: FISSURE Playground #1, where the team finished 9th-12th.
