Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes is one of the leading Portuguese esports players who has established himself positively on the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene. In this discipline, he has played around 800 matches across more than 100 tournaments. He has repeatedly achieved victories and prize placements, resulting in an impressive total earning of about $134,000.
The esports career of Christopher began quite a while ago, in May 2009, when he joined the team K1CK, with whom he achieved his first successes on the pro scene. These include wins at tournaments such as EPT4, xfunction Fraglider Cup 2012, Pro Gamer Series 2012 CS:GO, MEO XLPARTY FIL 2012, xFunction Masters I, bronze at Multiplay Insomnia 54 and 99Damage Arena #6, among other smaller achievements.
He stayed with his first team until May 2015, then moved to OverGaming eSports Club. There, he earned silver medals at 99Damage Arena #12, SocialNAT Master League, and Liga de Videojuegos Profesional - Season 9: Sprint #1. Later, he returned to K1CK, where he took another runner-up title at Alientech AllStars #1 and won gold medals at AlienTech League Season 1 - Finals, AlienTech League Season 2 - Finals, and Minho Electronic Esports Cup.
In September 2017, Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes was invited by Giants Gaming. He had considerable success with them, winning silver at 4Gamers Masters Porto 2017, bronze at ESL Masters España - 2017 Season 2 Group Stage, and 3-4 place at ESL Masters España 2017 - Season 2.
In early 2018, he joined devils.one and won gold at X-Bet.co Invitational, then moved to Movistar Riders, where he did not achieve notable success. In October, he rejoined Giants Gaming and returned to winning ways, securing gold at Master League Portugal Season 2, ESL Masters España 2018 - Season 4, United Masters League Season 2: Week 1 Qualifier, GameGune 21, and Master League Portugal Season 4.
From January 2020 to January 2021, Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes played for SAW. With the team, he won championships at ESEA Season 33: Open Division - Europe, Master League Portugal Season 5, LVP Unity League 2020, and ESEA Season 34: Advanced Division - Europe, as well as silver medals at ESL Masters España Season 8 and DreamHack Open December 2020.
At the end of January 2021, SAW offered him a new contract, which he accepted. This proved to be a good decision, as he added many achievements including wins at Master League Portugal Season 7, Elisa Invitational Fall 2022, ESL Challenger League Season 43: Europe, CCT Season 1 West Europe Series #4, BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024, and ESL Challenger Katowice 2024. He was also runner-up at Thunderpick World Championship 2023: European Series #2, and placed at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, ESL Pro League Season 19, BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024, PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, and ESL Pro League Season 21.
As of June 2025, Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes continues to play for SAW as a stable main roster player.
