
Alejandro “mopoz” Fernández-Quejo Cano is one of the most experienced Spanish esports athletes competing in Counter-Strike. He has been active in the discipline for over 11 years. During this time he has participated in hundreds of tournaments of various levels, collected many awards, and earned total prize winnings exceeding USD 125,000.
His career began in June 2014. From then until the end of 2015 he played for a number of lesser-known teams and did not achieve major results. His first successes came with Infinity eSports in early 2016: he achieved silver at the Gigabyte CS:GO Challenge and the LVP (Liga de Videojuegos Profesional) Season 10: Final Cup.
He then played for CADIEM eSports Club, and in December 2016 joined KPI Gaming, where he won titles at ESL Major Spain - Winter 2016 and GAME Stadium 2017 – Round Robin, plus other prize placements.
In July 2016 “mopoz” signed with Movistar Riders, with whom he won further gold medals: ESL Masters España 2017 – Season 2, LVP – La Copa 2018, Grand Hotshots #1, ESEA Season 29: Advanced Division – Europe, One Tap League Season 1: Stop #0, ESL Masters España Seasons 7, 8, OMEN WGR European Challenge 2021, ESL Masters España Seasons 9 & 10, ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022 and DreamHack Melbourne 2023.
Additionally, he earned runner-up at ESEA Season 30: Premier Division – Europe, European Development Championship Season 1, bronze at Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022 and IEM XVII – Cologne, and finished 5-8th at ESL Pro League Seasons 15 & 18, and 13-16th at Season 17.
He stayed with the team until end of 2023, then in early 2024 joined KOI. There he had less success, but still took silver at ESL Challenger League Season 47: Europe, bronze at FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2023, and won Galaxy Battle #4.
In January 2025 he moved to Iberian Soul, with whom he won gold at Galaxy Battle 2025 // Phase 3 and Exort The Proving Grounds Season 2, and bronze at Galaxy Battle 2025 // Phase 2.
In August 2025 Alejandro “mopoz” Fernández-Quejo Cano joined Gentle Mates, where he continues to play. With them he earned silver at Roman Imperium Cup II, bronze at Galaxy Battle 2025 // Phase 4, and placed 4th and 12-14th at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 and ESL Pro League Season 22 respectively.
