Ilya Osipov's career in esports began in 2019. During the summer, he signed with NewBALLS and immediately helped the team reach the final stage of the HardCup. A year later, m0nesy transferred to Ztayhome, where he became one of the team leaders and made a significant contribution to their victory at the Dell Gaming Cup #2.
At the beginning of 2020, Ilya joined the NAVI Junior team by signing a preliminary contract, and after completing the trial period, he earned the status of a reserve player. By the end of 2020, as a member of the new team, he reached the semifinals of the European Development Championship Season 1, and a year later, he advanced to the final stage of the WePlay Academy League Season 2.
However, towards the end of 2021, Ilya lost his status as a contender for the main roster and found himself among the reserves once again. Consequently, he gladly accepted an offer from G2 Esports, which purchased his contract in early 2022. According to unverified reports, G2 Esports paid around $600,000 for Ilya, who expressed his gratitude to the team by helping them secure a 4th to 6th place finish at the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022.
The years 2023 and the first half of 2024 were equally successful for Ilya. During this period, he added an impressive array of awards to his collection, including victories at IEM Katowice 2023, IEM Cologne 2023, and IEM Dallas 2024, as well as bronze medals at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2023, Gamers8 2023, and PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
