Nikolay 'mir' Bityukov is a professional esports player with an impressive track record. He entered the Counter-Strike pro scene in 2015 under the alias 'mir.' Nikolay's first team was Wrecking Gaming, but he spent only two tournaments with them. During these events, he performed excellently, which led to an invitation from Vega Squadron. With his new team, he won his first awards, including gold medals at the Uprise Champions Cup Season 2, Rising Tornado #3, QuickShot Showmatch #18, and Global eSports Cup - Season 1 - CIS Qualifier #1.

In December 2015, he signed a contract with Arcade eSports. However, his performance with this team was not going well, and in May 2016, he was removed from the roster. He then played for several lesser-known teams until December 2016 when he returned to Vega Squadron.

His return was quite successful, and during his second stint with Vega Squadron, Bityukov significantly expanded his trophy collection. He won gold at the CIS Minor Championship - Kraków 2017, China Top Kunshan 2017, took silver at DreamHack Austin 2017 - EU Closed Qualifier, and finished 1-4 at DreamHack Tours 2017 - EU Open Qualifier.

From the spring of 2018, Nikolay appeared less frequently in the main lineup and spent most of his time on the bench. Naturally, this situation didn’t sit well with the esports player, and by May 2018, he switched to Gambit Esports. With Gambit, he achieved 3-4th place at ESL One: New York 2018, Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Sydney: European Open Qualifier #2, and won the FACEIT Pro League - April 2019 Week 4 championship.

In September 2019, mir signed with Team Spirit. He spent two and a half years with the team and won a number of tournaments during that time. The most significant victories include gold at ESL One: Road to Rio - CIS, Regional Major Rankings: Rio Major 2020 - CIS, Intel Extreme Masters XV - Beijing Online: European Qualifier, FACEIT Pro League - Europe: September 2021, and 1-4th place at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: European Open Qualifier.

In the summer of 2022, Nikolay joined Entropiq, where he made a strong impact and won several tournaments. He claimed gold at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022: European Qualifier, CCT Season 1 North Europe Series #1, and FACEIT Pro League - Europe: February 2023, and earned silver at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022: European Qualifier.

From July 2023 to April 2024, Nikolay represented Virtus.pro. With the team, he won gold at FiReLEAGUE Battle 2023, CCT Season 1 Online Finals #2, ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023, Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2024: European Qualifier, and 1-4th at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024. He also finished 1-2nd at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A and took silver at Thunderpick World Championship 2023. After this, Nikolay 'mir' Bityukov left Virtus.pro and is currently an unemployed esports player.
