Matúš “MATYS” Šimko is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Slovakia. He has been active on the pro scene for over 5 years, earning $73,000 in prize money through various tournaments.
His first professional team was Gravity, which he joined in May 2020, achieving 7th place at 1. COOL League Season 7, earning his debut prize money. After a temporary break, he joined DEFEATERS in September 2020, winning bronze at UNIZA Masters 2020. In April 2021, he moved to BRUTE, but did not achieve significant results.
Šimko returned to success with ENTERPRISE esports, winning gold at 1. In November 2023, Šimko joined Fnatic, placing 7–8th at Elisa Masters Espoo 2023 in his first tournament. With Fnatic, he won gold at RES European Series #1, RES European Series #6, Conquest of Prague 2025, and silver at YaLLa Compass Spring 2024, FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2023, CCT Season 2 European Series #6 & #19, Exort The Proving Grounds Season 1, and Glitched Masters 2025. Other notable finishes include 21–28th at ESL Pro League Season 19 & 20, 5–6th at YaLLa Compass 2024, 3–4th at RES Regional Champions and Rainbet Cup, 5–8th at Thunderpick World Championship 2024, and 23–24th at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
In July 2025, he joined G2 Esports, where he continues to play. With G2, he placed 7–8th at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2025 and 9–16th at BLAST Bounty Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier and Esports World Cup 2025.
