Mario Alberto entered the professional Counter-Strike scene in 2016 but did not achieve immediate success. He began playing CS
and spent three years in lesser-known teams without notable results.
It wasn't until three years into his career that malbsMd achieved his first victories. After joining FULL SEND in 2019, Mario reached the finals of the ESL LA League Season 3 tournament and earned a silver medal. His standout performance in the team drew the attention of Infinity Esports, which he joined in April 2019, promptly winning the AMD Red League 2019 - Northern Cone.
Alberto also had a strong showing in 2020. He secured gold medals at the Aorus League 2019 - Season 4 - Northern Cone and later claimed silver at the WESG 2019 Latin America: LatAM North tournament. Despite these successes, Mario was relegated to a backup position, a situation he was unwilling to accept. In May 2020, he joined Team One.
As a member of Team One, the cyber athlete significantly expanded his collection of awards. He earned silver medals at the ESEA Season 33: Premier Division - North America Finals, placed 3rd-4th at DreamHack Open Summer 2020: North America, and won gold at the ESEA Season 35: Premier Division - North America. Mario's substantial contributions solidified his position as a main roster player.
The player remained with Team One until September 2022, securing many more trophies. Among the most notable were victories at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Anaheim 2022: North American Open Qualifier #1, IEM Road to Rio 2022: American RMR - North American Qualifier #3, and ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022: North American Qualifier.
In October 2022, Alberto joined the LOS team but did not achieve significant success. His only notable victory with the team was winning the gold medal at Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2023: North American Open Qualifier #1.
In the summer of 2023, Mario signed with M80, with whom he won several tournaments. His most notable triumphs included gold medals at Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023: North American Open Qualifier #1, ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023: North American Qualifier, ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Autumn 2023 #6, Esports World Cup 2024: North American Qualifier, and ESL Challenger League Season 47: North America.
Since June 2024, Mario Alberto has been playing for G2.
