Jérémy “Kursy” Gast is a professional esports player who began competing on the Counter-Strike pro scene in July 2018. Early in his career, he played for several lesser-known teams, one of which achieved 3rd–4th place at ESL Championnat National: Winter 2018 and ESL Championnat National: Autumn 2021 WonderKids.
His career saw serious growth only in March 2022 after joining GenOne. With this team, he won the first championship title of his career at the Top Achat Cup. However, he didn’t remain with the roster for long. By August, Jérémy had left the team and played with various mix teams until February 2023. During this period, he won gold at the Global Arena Cup #1 and was a runner-up at La Relève.
In February 2023, Gast joined Nakama Esports, but without much success, and by May he was again playing with mix teams. With one of them, he secured a gold medal at Run&Kill and placed second at the ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Spring 2023 #6.
After that, in July 2023, he joined Arcadia Esport, but was unable to help the team achieve significant success. As a result, Jérémy went back to playing with different mix teams. In January 2024, he signed a contract with Gucci Gaming Academy. This proved to be a smart move and a springboard that allowed him to return to GenOne in March 2024.
It was with this team that Gast achieved the greatest accomplishments of his career on the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene. He won gold at Unbeatable Closed Edition #3 and European Pro League Season 26: Division 2, silver at Galaxy Battle #1 and United21 Season 23, and bronze at United21 Season 22 (twice). After that, Jérémy “Kursy” Gast left the team and, as of early May 2025, is looking for a new team.
