Paytyn "junior" Johnson is an American player competing in Counter-Strike 2. His professional career began in 2019. Since then, he has participated in over 500 matches, earning approximately $80,000 in prize money.

Paytyn began his journey with the team Hot Ass. He played several tournaments and qualifiers with them but failed to achieve any notable results. In April 2019, he joined Lowkey Esports, where he also didn’t deliver strong performances and remained without titles. Afterward, Johnson played for several other teams, yet still couldn't taste victory.

His first significant successes came in the spring of 2020 when he joined Triumph. With this team, he finished 5th–6th at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Showdown, won silver at WINNERS League - Season 4: North America Invite Division, Mythic Invite League Season 1, Mythic Summer Cup #1, and Intel Extreme Masters XV - Beijing Online: North America. He also claimed gold medals at ESEA Season 33: Premier Division - North America Finals, Mythic League FPL Cup #1, ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Summer 2020 #4, and Dust2.us Masters FPL Cup #1.

As one of the top performers in the lineup, he caught the attention of FURIA and signed with them in early 2021. Shortly after joining, Johnson helped the team secure 7th–8th place at Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship and 3rd–4th at ESL Pro League Season 13. His achievements didn’t end there — he went on to earn silver medals at cs_summit 8 and FACEIT Pro League - North America: July 2021 Week 1, and placed 5th–6th at DreamHack Masters Spring 2021.

In July 2021, he left the organization and joined Bad News Bears. With the new roster, he claimed several more accolades, including titles at ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Summer 2021 #5, Fragadelphia 15, ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Autumn 2021 #1, and ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Winter 2022 #1.

From January 2022 to February 2023, Paytyn “junior” Johnson played for Complexity. With the team, he placed 5th–8th at Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022, 3rd–4th at ESL Challenger #48, 17th–20th at ESL Pro League Season 15, and 4th at PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR. In March 2023, he joined Evil Geniuses Black and continued his winning path — claiming gold at ESEA Cash Cup Circuit 2023: North American Cup #2, silver at ESL Challenger League Season 45: North America and ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Summer 2023 #1, and bronze at ESL Challenger League Season 44: North America.

In January 2024, he joined Nouns Esports. With them, he played over 50 tournaments, earning prize placements in many. Notable achievements include victories at BoomTV Code Freedom, Fragicago 2024, and NA Revival Series #4, runner-up finishes at Thunderpick World Championship 2024: North American Series #1, CCT Season 2 North American Series #2, and Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #1, as well as bronze at ESL Challenger League Season 47: North America.

In early May, Paytyn “junior” Johnson left the team and signed with Moneyball, where he is currently under contract. However, he is now playing for Complexity again. He will remain with his former team until the end of the BLAST.tv Major in Austin, after which he will return to Moneyball.
