Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad (born February 27, 1994) is a Norwegian professional Counter-Strike 2 player who has stayed relevant for more than a decade by fitting into many different team styles.
He first became known in Europe on lineups like LGB, Copenhagen Wolves, G2, FaZe, and Dignitas. In-game, he has mainly been a rifler who takes a lot of early fights: the kind of player who is willing to be first in, win space, and help the round open up for his teammates. Over his career, he has played more than 2,000 pro maps and recorded a headshot rate a little above 50%, which matches that aggressive rifle profile—lots of duels, lots of aim-dependent moments.
A big turning point came when he joined the Renegades core (later 100 Thieves). At the StarLadder Major Berlin 2019, that roster reached the top 4, meaning they made a deep Major playoff run against the strongest teams in the world. A few months later, with 100 Thieves, he reached the grand final of IEM Beijing 2019 (2nd place), a good example of how he could perform in high-pressure arena events with international attention.
In 2022, jkaem joined Apeks and stayed there until mid-2024. Their best result was the BLAST Paris Major 2023, where Apeks finished 3rd–4th with a roster that included kyxsan, nawwk, jL, jkaem, and STYKO. After that, he briefly played for BLEED and UNPAID before moving to BC.Game; he is currently benched, with career winnings listed at about $280,686.
