Jimi Salo’s cybersport career began in 2020. He initially played for various mixed teams, including FCottoND, where he earned a bronze medal at the Elisa Finnish Championship 2020. Shortly after, he joined Choco & Friends, achieving victories at the Pelaajat.com OMEN Cup and Fragleague Season 5: Finnish Division.

His achievements didn’t stop there. In December 2020, Jimpphat joined IQUE.gg, where he continued to excel, helping the team secure gold at both the Visma Esports Classics and the Pelaajat.com Predator Cup, along with a silver finish at the Elisa Nordic Championship 2021 - Finland. However, the team disbanded in May 2021. Jimi was briefly a free agent but soon signed with NYYRIKKI Sports over the summer. With NYYRIKKI, he won the Finnish Esports League Season 9, and later moved on to play with Conquer Gaming.

Since March 2022, Jimi has been competing for MOUZ. As part of the 'mice' squad, he has won several notable tournaments, including BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #1 and the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR B, as well as earning silver at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024.
