Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund is a Swedish esports player who has made an impressive journey in the professional Counter-Strike scene. Throughout his career, he played nearly 1,000 matches and earned almost $500,000 in prize money.
For Christopher, it all began in September 2006 when he participated in the regional qualifiers for Intel Extreme Masters I as part of Hippopotamus. After that, he won gold at the Rendezvous #24 tournament with Gamepassion and then joined Begrip Gaming in May 2007. With the new team, Christopher took silver at Spixelania but left the team in August and spent the following period until September 2008 competing in minor tournaments with various mixes.
The player found a stable home only after joining Fnatic in February 2009. He stayed with the team for over a year and during that time won gold at IEM IV Global Challenge Dubai, World Esports Masters 2009, Arbalet Europe 2010, GameGune 2010, IEM V Global Challenge Shanghai, and Komplett Gamer Challenge #2, as well as silver at IEM IV Global Challenge Chengdu, World Cyber Games 2009, IEM IV European Championship Finals, Intel Extreme Masters IV, and MSI Beat IT! 2010.
At the beginning of 2011, Christopher changed teams and signed with SK Gaming, where he played until summer 2012. During this period, he won gold at DreamHack Summer 2011, GameGune 2011, IEM VI Global Challenge New York, ESWC 2011 - Counter-Strike 1.6, 3rd Generation Intel Core Challenge by IO, and took silver at Copenhagen Games 2011, WEG e-Stars 2011, World Cyber Games 2011, IEM VI Global Challenge Kyiv, and TECHLABS Cup 2012 Moscow.
From August 2012 to November 2019, Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund represented Ninjas in Pyjamas. During this time, he won numerous awards. The most notable gold medals came from ESL One: Cologne 2014, DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016, StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2, Intel Extreme Masters XI - Oakland, DreamHack Open Valencia 2017, Intel Extreme Masters XII - Oakland, and silver from DreamHack Winter 2013 and DreamHack Winter 2014.
After his successes, the player took a short break but returned to the pro scene in February 2020 by joining Dignitas. With this roster, he won several more awards, including silver at Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 6 and 3rd-4th place at Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 9.
Christopher then won gold at Yalla Cup Winter 2020 with Broderna145, and in May 2021 joined Lilmix. However, he did not achieve major success there, with the best result being 3rd place at Svenska Elitserien Spring 2021.
Between April 2022 and February 2023, he paused his career. He resumed playing with Boomerdemons and later several other teams. With one of them (Team GeT RiGhT), he placed 5th-6th at GOAT League 2023 Summer VACation. Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund announced his retirement from professional esports in May 2025.
