Sebastian “fr3nd” Kuśmierz is a professional esports player from Poland competing in Counter-Strike 2. His career has spanned over 8 years, during which he has taken part in hundreds of tournaments on the pro scene. Many of these appearances brought him notable success, helping him accumulate over $24,000 in prize winnings.

He began his competitive journey in April 2017, playing for T4ap.Gaming in the open qualifiers for GeForce Cup 2017, where his team finished 9-16th. After this setback, he went inactive until October 2018, when he joined Vex.eSport. With this roster, Sebastian earned his first professional trophy by winning East Games United 2018.

In December 2018, Kuśmierz parted ways with the team and later played for EVOLVE by ITHardware.pl, but failed to make an impact. Similar outcomes followed with Gildia, AHOOJ, Illuminar Gaming, and BARTOSZE, between June 2019 and July 2020. He finally found success with Team Mefron, winning the GetInPro Summer Cup Stage 2: Gold Division and GetInPro Summer Cup Stage 2, alongside a silver medal in VAL Season 14. Afterward, he joined Team Gaminate, but failed to achieve notable results.

In November 2020, Sebastian accepted an offer from Pompa Team. With them, he earned several more accolades, including silver at Polska Liga Esportowa S8 Grupa Profesjonalna and Flashe Super Slam, as well as top finishes in Polska Liga Esportowa S9 Grupa Mistrzowska - Online Stage and epic.WAN 32.

August 2021 marked a new chapter as he signed with HONORIS. There, he achieved bronze at ESEA Season 38: Advanced Division - Europe, Polska Liga Esportowa Autumn 2021: Dywizja Mistrzowska, and ESL Mistrzostwa Polski Spring 2022, silver at Puchar Narodowej Drużyny Esportu and ESL Mistrzostwa Polski Autumn 2021, plus a 4th-place finish at ALL IN Series.

In August 2022, he transitioned to PACT, winning bronze at Polska Liga Esportowa 2022: Dywizja Mistrzowska Finals, silver at ESL Mistrzostwa Polski Autumn 2022, and finishing 4th at European Pro League Season 3.

Early 2023 saw him join Let Us Cook, where he claimed bronze at CCT Season 1 North Europe Series #4 and secured a top 1-2 finish in ESL Mistrzostwa Polski Spring 2023: Closed Qualifier. In September 2023, he moved to ThunderFlash, where he achieved further success, including gold at Hard Play Cup #7, Blu Game Show 2023, and Polska Liga Esportowa 2023, as well as bronze at ESL Mistrzostwa Polski Autumn 2023.

After a brief stint with Ex-ThunderFlash in early 2024, Sebastian signed with ENTERPRISE esports in February. With them, he took silver at Polska Liga Esportowa 2024: Split #1 and YGames PRO Series 2024, and bronze at European Pro League Season 19: Division 2, Regional Clash Arena Europe, and European Pro League Season 16.

His strong play earned him a transfer to Permitta Esports in September 2024. With this squad, he collected bronze at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2024 and Poznań Game Arena Cup 2024, 5-8th at CCT Season 2 European Series #13 and IESF World Esports Championship 2024, plus championship titles at SwitzerLAN 2024 and Game Zone Masters 2024. After a short break in November, he returned in February 2025 by joining Wildcard Academy. He quickly impressed, helping the academy roster win Urban Contenders #4 and earning a promotion to the main team.

With the main Wildcard lineup, Kuśmierz continued to win titles, including gold at United21 Season 32, silver at Thunderpick World Championship 2025: North American Series #2 and CCT Season 3 North American Series #1, and a 13-16th finish at FISSURE Playground #1. Currently, Sebastian “fr3nd” Kuśmierz represents Wildcard as one of the core players in Counter-Strike 2.
