Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev is an esports player with Ukrainian citizenship who boasts an impressive track record in the Counter-Strike scene. He has participated in hundreds of tournaments, played over 800 matches, and earned more than $600,000 in prize money.

He began his professional career in the summer of 2004 when he joined pro100, a team he played with until June 2007. During this period, he won several awards, including championships at ASUS Open Winter 2006, ASUS Open Summer 2006, and ASUS Open Winter 2007.

Afterward, he was invited to join Virtus.pro. The contract was signed in July 2007 and lasted until December 2008. During his time there, Ioann won gold at ASUS Open Summer 2007, Intel Challenge Cup 2007, GamePlayTV showmatch, and Intel Challenge Cup 2008. He then signed with DTS Gaming, but didn't achieve notable success with the team.

A new chapter in his career began in September 2009 when he joined HellRaisers, where his strong performances caught the attention of NaVi, leading to a full contract in March 2010. With the Ukrainian team, Ioann won the vast majority of his career titles. These included championships at IEM VI Global Challenge Kyiv, TECHLABS Cup 2012 Moscow, Adepto BH Open 2011, Intel Extreme Masters V, DreamHack Winter 2010, World Cyber Games 2010, ESWC 2010, Arbalet Europe 2010, Arbalet Cup Best of Four, and Intel Extreme Masters IV, among others.

In August 2013, Ioann parted ways with NaVi but rejoined the team in November after a brief stint with Astana Dragons. His return was even more successful: he claimed gold at ESL Pro League Winter 2014/15, StarLadder StarSeries XIII, Electronic Sports World Cup 2015, CS:GO Champions League Season 1, Intel Extreme Masters X - San Jose, DreamHack Open Leipzig 2016, Counter Pit League Season 2 - Finals, ESL One: New York 2016, DreamHack Open Winter 2017, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 5, CS:GO Asia Championships 2018, ESL One: Cologne 2018, and BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2018. He also secured silver medals at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015, ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 - Finals, StarLadder i-League StarSeries XIV, DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016, MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016, Adrenaline Cyber League 2017, StarLadder & i-League StarSeries Season 4, DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018, FACEIT Major: London 2018, and EPICENTER 2018.

In the summer of 2019, he made a change by joining Winstrike Team, where he spent a few months and earned silver at the CS.Money Premier tournament. After that, Ioann played for Selectah!, TBATBATBA, KHAN, and 10Rings but didn’t find significant success. In the fall of 2022, he claimed silver at the Kinguin Legends #1 tournament with Team Edward. After a few more unsuccessful stints with other teams, Ioann decided in spring 2025 to hang up his mouse and retire from professional esports.
