Nicolai Reedtz began his career in CS: Source but struggled to achieve significant results. In 2013, he transitioned to CS:GO and joined the Copenhagen Wolves team. However, his time with the team was marked by limited success, and after the organization ceased its investments, Nicolai decided to part ways. In early 2014, he joined Dignitas under the alias "device."
Representing his new organization, Reedtz earned bronze medals at ESL Major Series One Katowice 2014 and ESL One: Cologne 2014. The following year, the team rebranded as SoloMid, but their achievements remained modest. Among the highlights of this period were first-place finishes at the PGL CS:GO Championship Series Kick-off Season, FACEIT League 2015, FACEIT 2015 Stage, and PGL CS:GO Championship Series Season 1, as well as runner-up finishes at the ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational.
In 2022, Nicolai, along with his teammates, decided to leave SoloMid. The players independently secured a sponsor, leading to the formation of the Astralis organization, where Ridz continues to play. While the team has yet to achieve major landmark victories, Nikolai regularly ranks among the top 10 MVPs in various premier tournaments.
