Marcelo Augusto David entered the Counter-Strike pro scene in 2013, but did not initially achieve great success. He played for various mixes, where he demonstrated an extremely mediocre performance. The first significant results came to coldzera only two years after the start of his career, when he took 2nd place in the FACEIT 2015 Stage 3 tournament as a member of Luminosity Gaming.

After that, together with his team, Marcelo won the gold medal at the MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016, along with a cash prize of 500 thousand dollars. The team also achieved victory at DreamHack Open Austin 2016 and ESL Pro League Season 3.

In the summer of 2016, the cyber athlete's contract expired, and he found himself under the banner of SK Gaming. Time proved that the transition to this team was the right decision, as Marcelo went on to win ESL One: Cologne 2016, Esports Championship Series Season 3, EPICENTER 2017, and ESL Pro League Season 6.

In the summer of 2018, coldzera became a player for MIBR, where he won the BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2019 tournament. His performance caught the attention of FaZe Clan, and at the end of 2019, he signed a contract with them. Marcelo spent more than a year and a half with the new team, winning gold awards at tournaments such as BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2019, Intel Extreme Masters XIV - World Championship: European Qualifier, and Intel Extreme Masters XV - New York Online: Europe.

In September 2021, Marcelo moved to Complexity Gaming, but did not achieve any significant results with this team, nor with the subsequent teams: 00 Nation and Legacy. However, the cyber athlete tasted victory once again after moving to RED Canids in May 2024. With this team, Augusto David has already won CBCS Season 4, Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024: South American Open Qualifier #1, and CBCS Masters 2024. Marcelo continues to defend the colors of RED Canids, playing as a sniper.
