Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov is an esports player with many years of experience competing in Counter-Strike. He began his career in 2016. At the start of his professional journey, Mikhailov participated in several tournaments as part of lesser-known teams but was unable to showcase his potential or earn any awards.
In February 2017, Kirill joined Elements Pro Gaming, where he achieved his first successes. He secured 1st-2nd place at the Hellcase Cup #3 - Open Qualifier and won bronze at the Betscsgo Cup #1. As one of the best players in the lineup, he earned a promotion in the fall of 2017 by signing with Quantum Bellator Fire.
With his new team, Mikhailov expanded his list of achievements. He placed 1st-2nd at the World Cyber Arena 2017 - European Open Qualifier #2, won gold at the EPICENTER 2017 - CIS Open Qualifier #1, WESG Russia Qualifier #2, WESG 2017 - Russia LAN Qualifier, and Saint-Petersburg IMPULSE CS:GO Championship, and secured silver at the CIS Minor Championship - Boston 2018 and WESG 2017 - Russia Qualifier #1.
From July 2018 to June 2019, Kirill played under the Winstrike organization. During this period, he achieved multiple successes, including gold medals at the Legend Series: Europe #5 - Online Stage, Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Katowice Major 2019: Minors’ 3rd Place Play-In, and GG League 2019 Olsztyn Offline Qualifier.
In the summer of 2019, Mikhailov signed with NAVI, where he became a champion at tournaments like Intel Extreme Masters XIV - World Championship, DreamHack Masters Spring 2021, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Cologne, and PGL Major Stockholm 2021. However, after nearly four years with NAVI, the player sought a new challenge and signed with 1WIN at the start of 2023. This venture was also quite successful, as Mikhailov secured gold at BetBoom Aunkere Cup #1, CCT Season 1 Central Europe Series #7, RES Eastern European Masters: Fall 2023 - Open Qualifier #3, and placed 1st-2nd at the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023: European Open Qualifier #2.
From November 2023 to December 2024, the esports player represented Cloud9. With the team, he achieved 1st-2nd place at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR B and Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024: European Open Qualifier #2, as well as winning gold at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: European Qualifier B and the Thunderpick World Championship 2024: European Series #2. In January 2025, “Boombl4” joined BetBoom, where he currently competes.
