Alexander Marenov began his esports career relatively recently, in November 2021, when he joined the forZe team. He quickly made a name for himself by winning two tournaments: KeyDrop Cup #1 and Exeedme Revolution. In 2022, he secured victories at Pinnacle Winter Series #2 and CCT Season 1 Central Europe Series #2.

In 2023, there was a slight dip in performance, with the team finishing in 5th-8th place at ESL Pro League Season 17. However, the situation improved thereafter. Alexander 'shalfey' Marenov went on to win CCT Season 1 Online Finals #1 and the Russian Cybersport League 2023, and also earned silver at the BetBoom Playlist Urbanistic.

In the summer of 2024, Alexander decided to change teams, joining 9 Pandas. However, he has yet to achieve significant victories or accomplishments with his new team.
