Alexey “alex666” Yarmoshchuk is a Ukrainian esports athlete who represents his country in the discipline of Counter-Strike 2. His career in this discipline began more than 5 years ago. During this time he has taken part in various tournaments, played over 300 matches and earned prize money exceeding US$35,000.

His first steps on the pro-scene were in June 2020. From that moment until the summer of 2021 he played for a number of lesser-known mixes, with which he did not achieve major successes, being satisfied only with prize-winning places at second-tier tournaments. The situation improved after he joined the team Okura. With them, the Ukrainian athlete managed to win gold at IronWar: Open Qualifier #2, and became runner-up at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe – Summer 2021 #6. However, after that the successes ended and until July 2023 Yarmoshchuk frequently changed teams, winning titles only occasionally.

Despite this, he showed a reasonably good level of play, which led to interest from the organisation B8, with whom he signed a contract in July 2022. However, he did not mark large achievements in the team and over the 11 months spent there he managed to take only silver at ESEA Season 44: Advanced Division – Europe, and gold at FACEIT Pro League – Europe: July 2023.

Afterwards, his path diverged from the organisation and he attempted to assert himself in several other teams. As a result of these attempts interest came from Betera Esports, and in November 2022 he signed with the organisation. At the new place the Ukrainian quickly settled and began producing results: gold medals at HATOR Games #1 and IceBonus Series #1, and 15-16th place (prize-winning) at ESL Challenger League Season 47: Europe.

The athlete’s cooperation with the Belarusian organisation lasted until April 2024, after which he again received an invitation to join B9. He accepted without major deliberation, which proved to be the correct decision. It was with this organisation that he captured all of the main awards of his career so far.

Alexey won gold medals at CCT Season 2 European Series #2, Elisa Invitational Spring 2024, CCT Season 2 European Series #5, CCT Season 2 European Series #10, CCT Season 2 European Series #18, ESL Challenger League Season 49: Europe; took runner-up positions at CCT Season 2 European Series #9, ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 and CCT Season 2 Global Finals; and bronze medals at RES European Series #2, CCT Season 2 European Series #3, HellCup #10, Elisa Masters Espoo 2024, CCT Season 2 European Series #17, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025. Additionally, with the team he took prize-winning places in other tournaments: 5-8th at CCT Season 2 European Series #6 and #7, 17-19th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, 21-24th at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2025, 9-16th at BLAST Bounty Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier and 4th at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025.

As of October 2025, Alexey “alex666” Yarmoshchuk continues to be a member of organisation B9, consistently playing in the main roster in Counter-Strike 2.
