Aurélien “afro” Drapier made his way to the Counter-Strike pro scene at the beginning of 2017. Initially, he tested his skills in various lesser-known mixes, where he was unable to stand out and win significant awards. However, despite this, the esportsman continued to train regularly, and soon his dedication was noticed by representatives from LDLC, with whom Aurélien signed a contract in the summer of 2020.
Immediately after this, he managed to win bronze at LOOT.BET CS Season 7: Closed Qualifier, claim silver at Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 4, secure the championship at ESL Championnat National: Winter 2020, and finish 1st-2nd in the ESEA Season 35: Premier Relegation - Europe: Climber Cup.
In January 2021, the player received an invitation from The Dice, which he accepted. However, this venture turned out to be quite unsuccessful, and just a month later, Drapier changed teams, joining Double Poney. As it turned out, this was the right decision. With the team, he managed to secure many new awards. The most notable of these were gold medals at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Winter 2020 #6, silver at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Spring 2021 #1, Fantasyexpo Cup Spring 2021, European Development Championship Season 4, ESL Championnat National: Autumn 2021, and ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Winter 2021 #2, as well as 1st-2nd place at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Anaheim 2022: European Open Qualifier #2.
Aurélien spent exactly one year with the team before moving to HEET. In this lineup, he was also able to showcase his skills positively. He helped the new team win gold medals at Malta Vibes Knockout Series #5, PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR - Open Qualifier #1, ESL Challenger League Season 40: Europe, and Elisa Invitational Spring 2022. Additionally, the esportsman earned a few silver medals at Elisa Invitational Winter 2021 and ESL Championnat National Spring 2022.
In January 2023, Aurélien returned to Team LDLC, but did not achieve much success. For this reason, by May, he switched teams and joined Fnatic. However, his performance here also didn’t live up to expectations. Over the course of more than a year and a half with the organization, he won only gold at RES European Series #1 and RES European Series #6, and claimed silver at YaLLa Compass Spring 2024, FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2023, and CCT Season 2 European Series #6.
At the beginning of 2025, Aurélien “afro” Drapier played two tournaments with Persona Grata before moving to OG, where he finished 1st-4th in CCT Season 2 European Series #20 Play-In. However, he was unable to secure a permanent place in the team, and by early March, he joined Mercenaires, where he currently plays. He has only competed in two tournaments with the team so far, winning silver in one of them—PGL Astana 2025: European Open Qualifier #1.
