Romeu “zevy” Rocco is a Brazilian esports player who competes professionally in Counter-Strike 2. He has been active on the competitive scene for nearly seven years. During this period, he participated in over 120 tournaments, played more than 433 matches, and earned prize money exceeding $110,000.
His first team was Pouco Papo, which he joined in October 2018, but did not achieve notable success. Afterward, he played unsuccessfully for Lowkey Esports Brazil, Fake Dos Pro, and Team Fearow. Romeu only started to see results after joining DETONA Pound. With this lineup, he immediately won silver at ESL Brasil Premier League Season 12 and later earned bronze and silver medals at CLUTCH Season 3 and Gamers Club Masters VI respectively.
In February 2021, Rocco left DETONA Pound to join Sharks Esports, where he quickly became a core player and began contributing significantly. Thanks largely to him, the team won silver medals at WESG 2021 Latin America: Brazil, DreamHack Open March 2021: South America, CBCS Elite League Season 1, CBCS Elite League Season 2, and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: South America. They also claimed championships at Play For Future Charity Tournament, DreamHack Open September 2021: South America, CBCS Finals 2021, and Aorus League Invitational 2022.
Following these successes, he received an invitation from paiN Gaming, joining them in August 2022. With paiN Gaming, he won numerous titles, including silver medals at CCT Season 1 South America Series #1, FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals, ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Autumn 2022 #7, CCT Season 1 North America Series #3, and BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2023. He also secured gold medals at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022, CBCS Invitational 2022, CCT Season 1 North America Series #2, ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Winter 2023 #3, and ESEA Cash Cup Circuit 2023: North American Cup #7. Other notable finishes include prize placements at ESL Pro League Season 17, Brazy Party, and BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
In June 2023, Rocco left paiN Gaming and joined Fluxo in July. He became a core player there and continues to compete with the team. During his time at Fluxo, Romeu “zevy” Rocco has consistently achieved prize-winning placements in various tournaments, including silver medals at CBCS Masters 2023, CBCS Invitational 2023, and Thunderpick World Championship 2024: South American Series #2. He also won championships at CCT Season 1 South America Series #10, RES Latin American Series #1, Regional Clash Arena South America, CCT Season 2 South American Series #3, CCT Season 2 South American Series #4, DBE 2024, and ESL Challenger League Season 49: South America. Additionally, he earned 3-4th place at RES Latin American Series #2.
